• Oonagh Keogh - Violin

    Oonagh Keogh is a violinist and a member of the Irish Chamber Orchestra. She has toured with them all over the world to great acclaim, performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.

    In addition to this Oonagh is a composer and arranger. She is also Artistic Director of ‘Ceol Na Mara’ which is a summer school in Connemara and a youth orchestra which she conducts in Limerick.

  • Conor Linehan - Piano

    Conor is best known as a composer of theatre music. He has written scores for National Theatres and Theatre Companies across Ireland and the UK.

    He has been three times nominated for Irish Times Theatre Awards, winning Best Sound in 2010 for The Last Days of a Reluctant Tyrant. In the same year he was nominated for the Judges Special Award for ‘setting the standard for original composition in theatre’.

  • Mary Curran - French Horn

    WhistleBlast founder, Hornist and Director Mary organises and delivers workshops and concerts to the highest standard with a touch of humour. She designs and delivers all WhistleBlast programming.

    She freelances with RTE and other Irish Orchestras and has recently completed a Masters in Festive Arts at University Limerick. Mary facilitates annual Teacher’s Training, a third Level Module for Music Students Philosophy to Funding and multiple workshops for all ages and backgrounds: Bold as Brass Bang and Blast One stop Music Workshop

  • Kenneth Edge - Saxophone & Clarinet

    Saxophonist Kenneth Edge is one of Ireland’s leading and most innovative musicians. He studied with Sydney Egan in Dublin, John Harle in London and Jean-Marie Londeix in Bordeaux. He was the original saxophonist for Riverdance.

    Kenneth is also a saxophone lecturer at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and is one of the founders of WhistleBlast Quartet.
